Makerspace Highlight: Wilderness Survival Makerspace Group Braves the Cold Weather

Every Friday Essex students get a chance to explore new things in various Makerspace groups. Last Friday Mr.Sloop took his group out on school grounds to learn various tips for wilderness survival. The students learned how to create a shelter and start a fire. From there the students made homemade potato soup, meat and veggie skewers and homemade biscuits. Most importantly the group worked on teamwork and communication!
