The Essex Science Fair will take place Friday, March 13th and is open to parents and community from 12:15-1:00 PM. Awards will be handed out Monday. Our students are eager to show everyone their hard work!
There will be a Washington D.C Parent meeting on Thursday, March 12th in Trojan Hall at 6 PM for 7th and 8th grade students.

Students nominated by administrators attended the Corner Conference Connections Workshop held at Fremont Mills Community School. Students participated in icebreaker activities and fun games where they had the chance work with peers from area schools. They learned about communication, value driven leadership, mental health, wellness and sportsmanship.
Bella Simmons, a Junior at Essex CSD, received a I rating on her Original Oratory entry at the Iowa High School Speech Association's Individual District Speech Competition at East Union Community School in Afton Saturday, Feb. 28. Bella will perform at State Individual Speech Saturday, March 14 at Thomas Jefferson High School in Council Bluffs. Congratulations Bella!
