We welcomed three baby goats over the weekend! On Monday, our AG students enjoyed taking care of the new arrivals and spending time with them throughout the day.

KHC is underway, and our school is excited about feeling good while doing good! Essex Community School is helping kids with special hearts through Kids Heart Challenge. We want as many families as possible to learn about heart health and the lifesaving skill of Hands-Only CPR. You can help by completing Finn’s Mission. We had a blast kicking off this year’s Kids Heart Challenge at Essex Community School! With help from this year’s Heart Heroes, we’re learning all about keeping our hearts healthy through movement, kindness, rest, and knowing when to ask for help.

Pep Club members Charlotte Juarez and Alexis Brooks are getting us ready for spring with our April chalk wall! Charlotte Juarez colored the “WE ARE ESSEX” pages created in Mrs. Peterson’s Photoshop class, and they are now displayed in the hallway to add a fun splash of color and school spirit.

Essex students put their knowledge and imagination to the test at the Essex Science Fair last week. Students from 5th-8th grade spent weeks working on their projects and Kindergarten joined in for a fun, group experiment. Congratulations to our winners and a great job to all participants!
