The Essex Community School District held a “Career on Wheels” event Wednesday, April 29 for students as part of the “District Career & Academic Plan” (DCAP). Students learned about careers with Vetter Equipment, Balance 4Ward, Page County Sheriff Department and Clarke's Tree Service. DCAP ensures that career and academic planning is integrated across grades, supported by a dedicated team, and aligned with both student needs and workforce demands, providing a structured, ongoing process for preparing students for postsecondary education, training, or employment.

Elementary students worked hard during Community Service Day beautifying school grounds as well taking time to practice bus evacuations.

Our annual Community Service was a huge success thanks to our hardworking students and staff. Students worked on cleaning up school grounds, flower beds, cleaning out the basement and made their way into the communities parks and roadways.
